Rashad Foundation
Education that opens pathways to opportunity.
Rashad Foundation is being developed to expand access to meaningful education and practical skills, strengthen educators and local institutions, and help people facing exclusion build pathways to opportunity.
One framework for the work
Reach people facing barriers to meaningful participation. Inspire learning goals and agency. Strengthen practical teaching and local capacity. Evaluate what changes and improve before expanding.
A proposed first chapter
The Yemen Teacher Development Initiative would support 30–50 adult English language teachers over 6–8 weeks. Workshops, mentoring, peer feedback and classroom practice would include low-bandwidth alternatives. These are planning targets.
Learn before expanding
A suitable local partner would help shape the needs assessment, recruitment and course. Evaluation would examine participation, teaching tasks and classroom application. A public learning report would explain findings, costs and limitations. This first pilot cannot establish causal student learning or employment impact.
Help shape the beginning
Potential contributions include curriculum expertise, facilitation, local educational knowledge, evaluation, governance, finance and safeguarding. For an initial conversation, describe your relevant experience, a practical contribution, your availability and any approvals or conflicts to consider.
